WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

O’Neal Stallworth Porter is the pastor of CORE Church (City of Refuge Empowerment Church) in Pensacola, Florida. He also was the founding pastor of Fellowship Christian Church in Mobile, Alabama (presently led by Pastor Sharyl D. Jackson). He is a graduate of the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa) and has also earned a master’s degree at the Alabama State University (Montgomery). 

Pastor Porter is the CEO/publisher of Oh Kneel Publishing, LLC. His current library contains five books: “Praise Is What I Do – No Other Option,” “God’s Power In The Believer,” “Have You Had Your ODE Today Devotional,” “In The Waiting Room,” and "Praying The Word (a 31-Day Prayer Journal)." Pastor Porter is also a veteran songwriter in the gospel music industry. He has recently released his first single entitled, “In My Right Mind.”

For decades, Porter has served the Body of Christ in various facets: teaching, preaching, writing, and sharing God’s WORD and agape with countless individuals across the globe. He is in demand as a gospel music workshop clinician and speaker.

He is a proud father to four wonderful children and two awesome sons-in-law: Kymberly Porter, Brooke (Jarvis) Dickinson, Morgan (Tim) Martin, and Charles Porter. He also is blessed with four wonderful grandchildren: Amber, Makenzi, Madeline, and Jarvis Jr. He is also blessed with parents: mother, Harriet (Rev. Matthew) Crandle and father, the late Rev. Charles W. Porter and his stepmother Joyce Porter.
